GIVING CAMPAIGN

Our 3-year-old boy Judah drowned last September at a pool we were at with some friends. It only took seconds for him to slip away from us, get in the water alone, and drown. We thought we knew how to keep him safe, but we didn't.
Summer is here in many places in the United States, and with the heat comes pool play and fun! Sadly, that also means we are seeing increases in drownings across the nation. In Texas alone, there have already been 26 documented child drownings in 2017 and that number is growing. Drowning is the number one cause of accidental death in children ages 1-4 years old. We know this first hand.

The Judah Brown Project was founded to change these statistics and to save other parents from suffering the agony of losing a child to drowning the way we lost Judah. We want to provide life-saving education on water safety and drowning prevention to families. We have made a great start in the Houston area! Our pamphlets are now in 40 pediatricians offices, preschools and other workplaces, where they will be given to parents to help them learn and teach the skills their kids need to be safe in and around the water. We have attended multiple events that have helped us spread awareness across the city of Houston. We have also been able to give four scholarships in the last month to kids who need to learn life saving swim skills.

In the past six months, Judah Brown Project has done so much toward educating families about how to save little lives, and we are working to do even more in the coming months! But we need your help. Your donations are critical to helping us meet our goal of stopping drowning from being the number one cause of accidental death in children ages 1-4. The money you generously give goes toward spreading our safety message to more families. Especially during this time of year, when drowning statistics soar, we need you!
