Many families are never told that drowning is one of the leading causes of death for children ages 1-4. We provide informational literature to peditricians to share with families to educate them about drowning so their child doesn’t become a victim. We provide informational literature to families, pediatricians, caregivers, city officials, safety advocacy groups, and schools, as well as offering in person and online trainings for each of these groups

Drowning Prevention Classes

Water safety information is key to keeping children safer around the water. For that reason, we have created training for both children and adults.

CHILDREN’S TRAINING:  Our children’s training is about 15-20 minutes long and is for kids 4-12 years of age. It is full of interactive games that teach water safety rules while also having fun! This training can serve preschools, schools, churches, libraries, homeschool groups and much more.

ADULT TRAINING:  Our adult training focuses on the statistics of drowning, how drowning happens, why it happens, what the outcomes are and how to prevent drowning. This training is gearing to ages 14+ and is good for babysitters, parents, grandparents, teachers and anyone else who has a child in their care.

If you live in the Houston, Austin, Dallas or surrounding areas, Judah Brown Project can travel to you to give this training. We also offer webinars for those of you who don’t live in the area, but would like to receive our adult training.

We are a non-profit organization and offer this training free of charge. Donations are always welcome, but not expected. All money donated will go toward helping us expand our vision to save little lives from drowning.
